We are a traditional British Brass Band situated in the beautiful countryside of Nottinghamshire between Worksop and Mansfield. We are very friendly and welcome new players to our rehearsals. Our venues range from summer fetes, park bandstands and galas to weddings. We also perform in more formal concerts and have good links with the local community.We also may be able to provide free tuition for anyone wishing to learn to play a brass instrument (See B Band Link).

We have an excellent reputation for performing at a high standard and came 6th in the 2011 National Mineworkers' Open Brass Band Festival.

If you think you would like to book the band, please bear in mind certain minimum requirements for any musical ensemble.Space to accomodate 25 players plus stands and percussion, adequate seating and access to toilets. (We can provide smaller ensembles if required.) Shade in very hot weather and shelter in inclement weather. Most bands are happy to play in most conditions within reason. Also if possible a small area for the band to leave instrument cases and to change into uniform.
